Cookies and similar technologies let a website store small pieces of information in your browser. Many sites use them to track visitors across the web. We don't. Here is the complete list of what scottspray.com stores on your device.
What we store
| Item | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banner choice | Local storage entry | Remembers whether you accepted or declined the banner, so it isn't shown again | Until you clear your browser data |
That single entry contains no identifier and is never sent to us or anyone else. It exists purely so the banner doesn't reappear on every page you open.
What we don't use
- advertising or retargeting cookies;
- analytics or audience-measurement tools;
- social media plugins that track you while you read;
- third-party embeds that set their own cookies.
Accepting or declining
Whichever button you choose on the banner, the site works exactly the same; there is nothing extra that switches on when you accept. Declining simply records that you declined.
Removing the entry
You can delete stored site data at any time through your browser settings, usually under privacy or site data. After that, the banner will ask you again on your next visit. Private or incognito windows discard the entry automatically when closed.
Other websites
When you follow a link from one of our articles to another website, that site may use its own cookies. Its cookie policy, not this one, applies there.
